Jesus K-rist, people, DO SOME MATHS! Just because you can type it in 5 minutes doesn't mean you can also DO it that fast!

Vabbian is now what, 10k per gem? and you need 16 each? 320K plus mats, right? Oh, is the trader not in stock? Stand in Kamadan advertising for some... All times five., didn't we say? How fast do you earn your money? Quote:

Seriously people, 100k per elite armor times 5 is half a million! And the money you spend there is money you can't spend elsewhere! 20 ectos for a tormented weapon means you don't get to use those ectos on your FoW armor! Also, all those hours... if you play 8 hours per day, that's nice for you - but my guildies play two hours every three days... They are working on the HoM and have been for a long time! IT IS NOT FAST IF YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY DO IT! |

IF it is a new account and they have no money, no its quite unlikely they would be able to complete stuff in that amount of time.
IF they had another account and it was a 2ndary (or tertiary or so), then more likely since they might have access to funds and runners to help them finish things up (prophecies only requires the last 4 missions to get that point hero of tyria?). but 2 days....just no

Maybe it was a mis-type and it was supposed to be 3/50. The 2 days is the time it takes to ship from the dealer, or to download and install the game. No reason to freak out gaizzzz.
In all seriousness, 30/50 from a new non-smurf account in 2 days is impossible. One of these days, if I'm reeeeeally bored, I might see how many points I can get on my second account in a few days. But not likely. And not likely 30/50. |

I'm essentially broke (had 10k when I decided to start with the second account). It was 8/50 when I started it (a mini, a hero, linked acc, couple of statues, an elite armor). It's 19/50 now after a couple of days. Added several hero armors, a statue (UW) to get full statue points, vabbian armor (which I already had but hadn't added yet). To get 30 I either have to seriously play to get titles or seriously farm to buy minis/armors. I don't see how I can even get from the 19 I have now to 30 in a couple of days, let alone if you have to start from 0 (or the 3 free ones you always get). A mini moa, 9 more heroes, 5 more statues, 2 more elite armors and a destroyer and oppressor will get me to 26 points. Impossible to do all that in two days, and that won't even get me to 30 points from 19 points... Last edited by Dzjudz; Nov 04, 2010 at 03:08 PM // 15:08.. |

For those calculating mission and campaign completion times - don't forget the time that it takes doing those primary quests that lead you from mission to mission. Oftentimes those take much longer than the actual missions themselves, and can easily double the amount of time it takes you to complete the campaign.

If you have a few mil, then yeah its doable in 2 days. About 35 ish points can just be bought. The rest you'll have to play to.

Read again, I said "unless you participate in DD with someone who is doing that quest." You can't run there in the traditional sense of the word (running through explorable areas to a portal) like you can all the other outposts in eotn. You have to do a quest (DD, like I said).

Totally possible in a single day if you have the cash. You can even get 35+ depending on how fast you can finish EoTN & NF (for all the heroes), Factions (for Imperial Phoenix & Black Moa) do protector & guardian and how fast you buy your stuff.
False. Let me know if you want an explanation as well. You can finish protector in way less. Not to mention Guardian. Last edited by Markus Clouser; Nov 04, 2010 at 06:17 PM // 18:17.. Reason: added some stuff |

Why are people always commenting about buying points & titles? Are there really that many that actually bought/buy their achievements? I'm not asking rhetorically, I'm curious. It's just that I haven't bought a single thing for any title or point on my main - other than occassionally some materials for crafting armors & weapons of course. I always assumed that was the norm. It doesn't make sense to me most of the time to buy stuff. Take the hero armors for instance - I needed 3 more ancient armors when the calculator went up. I did one run through the challenge and got 4 remnants. It probably would have taken me longer to find 3 for sale and spend XXk on than do it myself.

Don't forget that new accounts start with 55k from zkeys.

55k won't get you much towards any maxed titles. All it does is give you funds to purchase some max armor and decent weapons.

Examples would be Zaishen (Well, can be done in maybe 3 months of nonstop FA/JQ), Sweet Tooth, Party Animal, Alehound, not to mention Minis. Even destroyer weapons, which are the cheapest collector weapons are a pain in the ass to farm solo. It's easier to just buy stockpiles off of the various speedclear guilds out there. That 55k worth of zkeys would be better spent unlocking the zaishen title for the pvp requirement. |
